Responsibilities

The warehouse associate plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain management of a company. Their primary responsibilities include assembly, loading/unloading trucks, receiving, storing, and distributing goods within the warehouse environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

PROJECT DESIGNER

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales, designers, engineers, and internal teams to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
  • Develop plan layouts and details to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Create detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Specify materials, finishes, and equipment that align with project objectives, and performance requirements.
  • Evaluate existing spaces and infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization and clarify risks.
  • Coordinate with project management and supply chain to ensure seamless project execution from design development through construction completion.
  • Review and approve submittal drawings ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including junior designers and interns, as needed.
  • Support internal process development to drive efficiencies and accuracy in design.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on commercial or athletic facility design.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
  • Excellent graphic presentation skills and ability to develop compelling visual narratives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in space planning, spatial analysis, and ergonomics..

RECREATION SALES MANAGER

Responsibilities 

  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing client needs and following a defined selling process with customers
  • Grow/manage a sales pipeline and provide detailed forecasting within CRM records 

Role Objectives

  • Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics

MARKETING MANAGER

Responsibilities 

  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing plans including digital communications, sales support, product launches, lead generation, and brand campaigns. 
  • Help establish positioning, identify target audiences and key objectives across multiple channels and segments. 
  • Collaborate with the creative and product development teams, along with external agencies to write and build compelling brand campaigns and assets for print, digital, email and social media. 
  • Lead communication with key community members that grow the PLAE brand presence.
  • Maintain the social media and email calendar that outlines the schedule, content themes and key calendar moments to grow audiences and drive leads. 
  • Manage the day-to-day writing, scheduling and posting of content across various platforms including email, LinkedIn, and Instagram. 
  • Support the development, troubleshooting, testing and launch of digital programs and platforms. 
  • Report on marketing programs and key campaign KPIs, reporting on effectiveness to team. 
  • Prepare and monitor marketing budgets to ensure resources are allocated effectively against business objectives. 

   

Education and Experience

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.

 

Assembly

  • Assemble parts and components according to established procedures and specifications using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.

 

Shipping

  • Prepare and load shipments for outgoing orders according to established procedures and safety protocol. Ensure all necessary shipping documentation is completed accurately.

 

Receiving

  • Receive incoming shipments, unload goods from trucks, inspect shipments for accuracy and completeness, and verify quantities against packing lists or bills of lading.

 

Storage

  • Store received items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and inventory management practices are followed.

 

Picking and Packing

  • Fulfil orders by accurately picking items (5-70lbs+) from pallets, shelves or bins according to order specifications. Pack items securely and label for shipment to prevent damage during transit.

 

Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records. Report any discrepancies or inventory issues to the warehouse supervisor or manager.

 

Quality Control

  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Report any quality issues to the appropriate personnel and follow established procedures for handling non-conforming products.

 

Housekeeping

  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of clutter. Dispose of packing materials, pallets, and other waste in designated areas.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Forklift certification is required within the first 30 days.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and inventory.
  • Ability to lift and carry 70lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.

ESTIMATING MANAGER

Responsibilities:

Leadership, Cost Estimation, and Analysis:

  • Build a high functioning estimating team.
  • Create and track KPIs to track and improve performance.
  • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements and scope of work.
  • Utilize estimating software to material quantity requirements for flooring materials and associated items.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for flooring installations and fitness equipment projects.
  • Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to determine the most competitive pricing for project components.

Budgeting and Pricing:

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to establish project budgets and pricing strategies.
  • Assess project risks and factors that may impact costs, such as material availability, labor rates, and project timelines.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain organized records of cost estimates, pricing data, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all estimates are properly documented, named, and stored in accordance with company standards.
  • Generate reports and summaries to provide project stakeholders with cost analysis, comparisons, and recommendations.
  • Update and revise cost estimates as needed to reflect design changes, scope modifications, and project updates.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and pricing fluctuations to maintain accurate estimating practices.
  • Seek opportunities to improve estimating processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the estimating team and other departments to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field is preferred. (Relevant certifications or technical diplomas are a plus) Proven experience (3-5 years) as an Estimating Manager in the construction industry, preferably with experience in flooring and fitness equipment projects.
  • Proficiency in Callidus estimating software or similar estimating tools.
  • Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, fitness equipment, and associated costs.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret project documents and calculate accurate estimates.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in estimating work.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assess project requirements and identify cost drivers.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with other estimating software and tools is a plus.
