The values our company is founded on call us to stand up and speak out for social justice and equality. Because all lives can’t matter until black lives matter, we want to use the platform we’ve been given to take action on both a local and national level.
We Believe Change Happens Through Experience – TNT Visions Outreach, a local non-profit in Hoschton, Georgia, is a black owned organization that has been investing in the local black community for over 15 years to educate, equip, and care for the next generation of youth in America. We are partnering with this organization to donate both our time and money.
We Believe in the Power of the Weight Room – Many Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) don’t have the funding to provide the same experience to their student athletes as many other colleges and universities. We are committed to changing that. We are partnering with a local HBCU to renovate and outfit their weight room from the ground up. More details on that will be coming soon.
We Believe Continuing the Conversation is Important – We are taking measures to ensure diversity and equality are regular parts of the conversation at PLAE so we can address any potential blind spots we may have. But we also want to continue the conversation with you. Using #PLAETogether, we want to hear how your staff, your teammates, or your community are taking action to listen, learn and advocate in regards to the civil injustices faced by the black community. We believe it’s important to share these stories and model what it looks like to #PLAETogether.
How Can You Partner with Us? – To learn more about TNT Visions Outreach, or to make a donation, visit their website here. We also invite you to use your voice to create positive change by sharing your #PLAETogether story on social media. Most importantly, we encourage you to do something. We all have a voice, and we all have the ability to act. It’s up to us how will we use the opportunity we’ve been given?
